Though you may think healthy quiche recipes are complicated to make, they are really quite easy. Quiche is nothing more than a mixture of eggs and milk with various vegetables (and sometimes meat) added in. Eggs are an excellent source of protein and minerals, and are relatively low in calories.
The most time-consuming part of most recipes requiring a pie crust is the crust itself. Luckily, it's easy to find ready-made pie shells or pre-rolled pastry dough in the supermarket. Just be sure the dough or pie shell is made from pure butter, not shortening or oil of any kind.
Quiche is appropriate for any meal, and is a good source of protein
from the eggs and milk, as well as vitamins and minerals from the
vegetables you add. It's also great for those looking to eat healthy on a
budget, as the ingredients are generally inexpensive.
